Dear Artist,
 
The Friends of the Clarksburg Library invite you to participate in the 34th Wines of Clarksburg, our annual wine tasting and art auction which benefits the operations and programs of the Clarksburg Branch Library. This year, the event will be held on Sunday, September 18th from 1 to 4 pm on the beautiful grounds of the Heringer Ranch. This wonderful event is renowned for the quality of the setting, the exceptional wine, the fantastic food and music, and, of course, the extraordinary art on display every year.
 
The success of the auction is due to the remarkable and diverse art provided by the participating artists. This event is the main source of income for our non-profit and the proceeds provide the means to support children’s programs, longer hours, and the expansion of the vital operations of the local library. The Friends strive to support participating artists in the following ways:

  • Artist may receive a check for 50% of the final bid amount. However we encourage a larger donation to support library functions.
  • The Friends are pleased to provide one complimentary ticket (per artist) to the Wines of Clarksburg ($50 value). Additional tickets can be purchased for $50 each or $65 the day of the event.
  • The Friends can promote participating artists on our website and Facebook accounts. If you would like us to do please provide an image of the art you are donating as early as possible. 
 
If you can participate, please complete the artist information form (use link or select button below) as soon as possible and return it via email to Marty Twitchell at: [email protected], or by mail to: The Friends of the Clarksburg Library, PO Box 441, Clarksburg, CA 95612. If you have a jpg file of the art work you are planning to submit, please attach it to your information form, so that we can put it up in our website’s gallery for a preview to the public.
 
Please drop off your art at the Library Activity room (in the back of the library), located at: 52915 Netherlands Road in Clarksburg, on Saturday, September 14th, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.

​Please have all hanging art ready to be hung. Upon receipt of your artwork we will provide you with two complimentary tickets to The Wines of Clarksburg.
