CURBSIDE PICKUP:

How does it work?

  1. 1. Choose materials
  2. Request items anytime through the library's online catalog at https://web-iii.yolocounty.org/ or call (530) 666-8005 Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

2. Await confirmation
When the requested items are available for pickup, you will receive an email or telephone confirmation. Items will be held for you for 9 days.

3. Park in designated spaces
Park your vehicle in one of the parking spaces labeled "Curbside Pickup." Walking or biking? We have a special pickup area for you, labeled Bike/Walk. If there is a line, make sure to maintain a distance of 6 feet or more from the person in front of you.

4. Text us
When you arrive, please stay in your car. Text the word "HERE" to the phone number on the curbside sign or on your pickup notice. You will receive a reply with a link. Tap the link and respond to the questions. If you don't have a smart phone, text the word "HELP." You will be prompted to reply with your name and parking space number. If you need special assistance, let us know and staff will bring your materials directly to your vehicle.

5. Wait for staff
Stay in your car while a staff member brings out your materials. If you're at the Bike/Walk Pickup, please maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from the staff person.

6. Retrieve items
Once the staff member has left the area, pick up your materials. Note: staff members are not available to take in-person questions.

7. Return items
Materials are due 6 weeks from the date of checkout. Hotspots are due 7 days from the date of checkout. All kits (including early learning and discovery), R.A.Y. bags and Chromebooks may NOT be returned until the library building reopens. Items can be returned to any Yolo County Library location, except South Davis Montgomery and Patwin. Your items may continue to show up on your account for a few days while they are in quarantine. No overdue fees will accrue during this time period.

For additional information, call (530) 666-8005 Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
